Racing Teams
The White Bear Sailing School provides race training and coaching for Opti, 420, Laser, and X-boat sailors - the race team schedules for each respective boat can be seem in the class schedules sections of this web site, please see links on the left side of page. Regatta dates and information as well as other racing relevant information will be posted here as available.
There are many opportunities for Regatta competition. We've tried to compile a calendar of local and regional regatta opportunities for the X, Opti, Laser and 420 fleets.

White Bear Yacht Club Sailing Division Racing
Did you know that WBSS X, 420, Laser and Opti Race Team members receive complimentary WBYC Sailing Division Registration for Club Racing on White Bear? It's a great opportunity to practice your racing skills learned in class by Club Racing every weekend. Talk to your fleet captain or coach to get registered and to learn more about Club Racing. Have you heard about Twin Cities Youth Sailing?
This is an organization
supported by Sailing Schools in the Twin Cities Area that provides
regatta opportunities for students every Friday during the sailing
season. Sailors attend regattas at local lakes including
Minnetonka, White Bear, Calhoun, Harriet. WBSS provides coaching
support for the Opti, Laser and 420 fleets at all TCYS events. Ask your
